Things to do for a visitor.

This will probably be heavily cross-posted, but all of the Buffalo communities seem to be dead here... eh.

Hello everyone. I'm Lauren, a 20 year old sexually undefined (I feel like I fall in love with people, not gender) college student.

Anyway, I'm coming to visit Buffalo soon and will be there June 30th-July 7th. I grew up there but haven't lived there as a teenager and young adult so I don't know what is worth checking out in the city. Music-wise, I'm very into folk-punk (and I know Halo Fauna/Eric Ayotte play in Buffalo on occasion, I just don't know where) and folk in general and am looking toward shows/people into that sort of thing.

I am a lover of nature, outdoors, and art. Also, looking for a place where I can somehow borrow/rent a bicycle.

Additionally, any places that you think are worthy of checking out (whether vegan restaurants, worthwhile parks, any and all art collectives!!, CHEAP COLLEGE STUDENT THINGS) please let me know.

Sorry if this isn't entirely appropriate, mod(s).

There's always the Square on Thursday (http://www.buffaloplace.com/summerconcert). Also, Shakespeare in Delaware park started today and should be running then; think it'll still be The Tempest. Amy's Place on Main st. is the only vegan restaurant I know of (but they are really good). I like spending warm-day time at Delaware park.
there is also merge on delaware avenue between virginia and edward. they have a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options, much more than amy's place. it's also super cheap and they have organic wines and locally brewed beer.
